The citing of eateries by the health department published in the newspaper bears that out. How correct you are! My husband is in the service industry and goes all over the city to all the chain and individually operated restaurants and will back you up on that fact.

quote:Originally posted by Tedbear I think that merely glancing at the width of the butts of the majority of the patrons should give you a pretty good indication that--YES, many people are indeed too lazy to park and take a few steps inside to order. Isn't that a sad commentary on life in these times? Besides making their butt wider each time that they opt to sit on it rather than walk, these people are also wasting an incredible amount of gasoline and are also adding unnecessarily to the pollution of the air. All because of laziness! I ate at KFC last night inside the restaurant (mashed potato craving) and got to have the counter gentleman stare at me the entire time I was in there. He then followed me out to my car & asked for my phone number. The size of my butt nonwithstanding, I will stick to the drive thru for my future mashed potato cravings.

I always go inside and get it to go, regardless of which chain it is. It has nothing to do with the interiors or anything like that. I tey to get back to the job site ASAP. Since I do service as well as set A/C's, I want to be close just in case. If an inspection is about to fail, I can get to the house and fix the problem. This would not be possible if I ate in. I did the math. Eat in the truck on site as opposed to a refee. No brainer.
