Do you have an old Girl/boyfriend you wish you could talk to again?

I actually have a couple, one in particular, Barbara Nagle, I dated her for about 2 years, age 21-22. She was stunning, funny as hell, smart, artistic, thoughtful as all getout. I would give a small fortune to spend an afternoon finding out what the last 40+ years have been like, I've tried to track her down, no luck.
Anyone got a long ago sweethart they would like to find out about the path their lives have taken.
PS. If any of you know Barbara Nagle, let me know!

Barbara just left, she is still a knock-out.  Doesn't have much good to say about you though.

I looked up a winner I took to my senior prom-----found her---but she had found religion big time----tried to convert me ------I'm still running.

I'll tell barbara you were asking for her.

Never was a GF, but was a good girl, friend:  Laurie Harvey.
If this thread goes on, it probably won't take long for someone to know someone.  The 3 (or is it 2?) "degrees of separation ...

Good thought.   All they want to talk about now is their health problems, the weather,  food and their grandkids.  Not a real turnon.

Sigh. I saw her again last year at my brother's funeral. She looks just as great as she did then, same husky voice, my heart skipped a beat and I think hers did, too.

Oh, well. That's not the way life went, no use wondering.

This is on the internet, so I'm not sharing anything that isn't already readily available; here she is in 2008, 35th reunion, with her husband, who... looks kind of like me.

This past year I have been doing a lot of Family tree stuff using Ancestry.com.. A couple of tangent searches using the marriage  and census records have led me to two ladies I dated  back in the H S days.  We exchanged notes of recall and do the Christmas E-card thing now. Nice folks, both of whom are grandmothers and have busy family lives. It was nice to swap stories of our dating times though.   Not much interest in any follow-up as we live on opposite ends of the country. Glad we all share happy memories of those days.

At about age 60, and after a lengthy first marriage with 2 kids (and a nasty divorce when she caught hubby #1 cheating on her at the office), my sister married the guy she dated for the longest period in high school (and the one I think our dad liked the most).  I guess some people are just meant for each other.

Living in the same vicinity as where I grew up, I still see lots of my old boyfriends at social events. We are all good buddies, know each others spouses, and share memories and current events in our lives.

Hey dating grandmas isn't all bad.
When I went back into circulation 10 years ago I met some great ladies.
When I would be recommended to a lady and she called I was
often asked if I wanted a picture----I would say  "no, just send your financial statement".  It would appear that there are more widows out there than widowers-----I was in demand.

No old girlfriends though, they knew the old me,
and now I am really the "old" me----
and the new old me is better.

One of my older brothers, he's 71, and a very prominent Orthopedic Surgon in Bethesda Md. recently went on an old girlfriend hunt, with his wife's permission. He tracked down a woman he almost married, they did their Residency at Johns Hopkins together. She was a very successful Surgon in New Jersey, happily married, and when my brother Pat contacted her, was delighted to spend a weekend with her husband and my brother and his wife. They had a fantastic time, swapping stories, reliving the good times etc. This was in August. Nan, my brothers former girlfriend, was also an accomplished pilot. Sadley, in Sept, for unkown reasons,  she crashed her plane, killing all aboard. What are the chanches? My brother was crushed.

The ones I wished I could still talk to, I do.  The others have gone for very good reasons, and I don't much miss them.  I am somewhat curious about Greg, however...I broke off our engagement because I was an immature idiot and way too young.  Last I knew he was living about 45 minutes from here and owned his own body shop, never married and no kids.  I would look him up, but I can't imagine he'd be overly interested in talking to me again.

Billy,   My former Mother-in-Law (my ex's Mother) spoke of that night often, with fond memories of the "Order of the Arrow" medal that you left on the dashboard of her Studebaker that night. She wondered what ever happened when you sailed off on the Lusitania the next day?   Now I know the rest of the story !
