WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mt kid works at Mickey Ds !!!!!!!!!
They indeed cook the frozen raw hamburger patties on a
flat top grill. Then put them in a hot holding bin on
a "assembly line" where they assemble sandwiches to
order.
I will note that at peak rush times they also have
the sandwiches preassembled and placed in the
"rack" that we were used to seeing waay back when!

Pilot truck stop located in Marianna, FL at exit 142 on I-10, but this one
has an Arby's located inside, plus it doubles as the Greyhound bus depot.

TA has a truck stop on the other side of the same exit, and a regular
McDonald's location is next door to it.

I had my first Big Mac yesterday in probably 20 years. I got one out of curiosity on the road on my way down to La Crosse, WI. It will be another 20 years if I last that long before trying again. The hamburger was a tasteless soggy mass that could have been eaten without teeth. It could not have been grilled.

How true! The only thing I get @ McDonalds anymore is a Sausage & Cheese Egg McMuffin, and that is only once every three months or so...

I worked at Burger King about 5 years ago, and all the burgers were cooked on a grill. But the breakfast sausage is deep fried the same way fries and chicken are. The bacon and ham are already cooked, all they do now is microwave those. The eggs are already prepared in that "puffy" shape, then they're baked in the same oven as the biscuits.

I don't care what they do for a double cheeseburger for a buck. Sometimes you just need something to fill the stomach.
