Does anyone out there in food land know what a pipe liner is??????????????

A friend and I go back and forth with jeopardy questions
she has me a little stumped on this one, said it has something
to do with food. Also would like where it originated
 
Any help before tomorrow will be greatly appreciated....

Could she mean a piping bag?  One with a fine tip for writing on cakes?

There is a union made up of people who build pipelines, just google pipeliners and you will find them (headquartered in Oklahoma).   They built the Alaska pipeline, along with other crafts, of course.
 
I worked on the pipeline at several remote camps.  There was a lot of food there, but I don't remember anything named after them.
 
The only thing I can think of that they made was the pipeline itself.  

I once watched a crew from Con Edison in Manhattan put some liners inside steam pipes buried under Manhattan streets. It rehabilitates aging pipes.

I thought for sure saps or sizz would have given the correct answer by now

My guess is that it is a sandwich????

My guess is it is a one of the guys who makes sure the pipe is perfectly aligned, then connects it to the existing pipeline.

I now know what it is, I looked it up in Urban Dictionary, you don't want to know what it really is. Totally gross.
