Don Pablos is the best Mex restaurant chain hands down. It's as close to authentic as you can get.

We did have On The Border here in San Antonio, but they pulled out of the area.Which is okay, since we have so many mexican restaurants here in the home of Tex Mex.Plus,Picante Grill on Broadway and a few others serve stuff that is more commonly found in Mexico, just haven't had a chance to go there.

I tried it once, the food was blah, and never will go back.

I like Don Pablo's, especially the freshly made tortillias. A little butter, a little salt and a couple shots of Cholula. Yumm!
