Well, not exactly, but this spice mix lets you really taste the season! This little shaker stays on the kitchen table, and we shake it on coffee, cocoa, ice cream, cream, egg nog, just about anything to get that flavor!!!

I dreamed that they made a sweet potato pie flavored Sport Drink… I think it might have been a night after a long run so perhaps my body was craving carbs and other vitamins or something… If I saw it, I’d try it……

I tried my first Pumpkin Beer at a festival, I must say,, that was a tasty Beer! I have found it in some local markets and I always pick up a few. I really had no idea I would enjoy it so much.

Legend has it, pumkin beer was a common beverage among the first colonists and pioneers. Barley and grain being short, beer from Europe heavily taxed, our American fore fathers made due with what was on hand. And pumpkin ferments up rather nicely.

This time of year I always pick up a 12-er of Pumpkin Ale to sip through the holidays and into the new year. It's not something you drink in quantity by any means, but one is nice.

What no Harry Potter fans? Pumpkin juice is the Hogwarts beverage of choice.

I just saw pumpkin ice cream in the grocery store yesterday- the "season" must be upon us....and yes, it does make a really good shake! Also saw an eggnog and a peppermint ice cream....and they make terific shakes too!
