In the Syracuse NY area all the Starbucks have closed! Two of their locations were new and open less than a year! Now we have Tim Hortons opening up in their closed locations. I like DDs coffee the best out of all three places but Timmys has the best selection of baked goods! BTW: Our only Krispy Kreme place lasted a year before closing.

Boy, this post has some starbucks fans! Not really. Hey, I know nothing about coffee..Stocks..yes. Starbuck's stock, hammered this past year, is making quite a comeback. The year's range was $7.06 to $18.89. Today it's at $11.04. Up about 50% from the low. Of course this was once along with Krispy Kreme two of the darlings of Wall Street. Both way, way higher in years past. Anyway, seems their move to a value menu or value offerings is gaining back customers and adding new ones. I just read this and yet the ABC story says othewise...Apparently Starbucks has some sort of card that you sign up for and their applications for these cards are once again on the rise. But, they have had to come down and meet the demand for a less expensive offering(s). Probably a good idea anyway. That's what we are seeing across the board in all sorts of feeding operations. A sign of the times.
