E. KS Roadfood trip

Is this trip still going to happen? I used to get emails from roadfood.com but they stopped suddenly, and I have heard no more about this trip, or any other trip for that matter. Are you still sending out emails? If so, am I still on the list? Thanks. Joe

Joe- I imagine that you are referring to the newsletters, which come out once a month. In the March 2007 edition, Jane & Michael mentioned they were going to be in eastern Kansas for chicken and bbq. The follow ups come in the form of the reviews that get added from the area they were traveling in. And several new places were added in eastern Kansas. As for are you still on the list, did you receive the April 2007 newsletter? It was just sent out in the last day or so.

bill voss- Jane & Michael send out a monthly newsletter. This month it was about the release of the new Roadfood sandwiches book. Maybe someone smarter than me can tell you how to sign up to receive it.

I did get the April newsletter. I was thinking that they were going to do one of the organized trips for participants on this one, like they have done a couple of times in Chicago. If that was the case I was going to try and make it, but then I did not hear any more about it. I must have missed the March newsletter, but that happens.

bill voss- I don't necessarily think that is true. Joseiw2 says he has received the last few newsletters and he isn't a Roadfood Insider.

Cool. Mr. Tawny wrote some reviews of the Baxter Springs/Joplin area a few years ago. I'm an Eastern Kansas Native, so I like to read stuff about the homeland.

OK, since we're on the off topic of "How to sign up", can anyone tell me how to update this site with my new E mail address? I changed E-mail addresses about 6 months ago and I can't seem to figure out how to change it here. Thanks for any help, I'd like to start getting the Roadfood Newsletter again. --Ken

Under your name, where you are logged in, there is "preferences". Click that, and you can change your e-mail address, and check a box to get RoadFood E-mails.
