Eastern NC vs. Western NC 'Que

Found this interesting article on the Washington Post's website about North Carolina barbeque. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/05/13/AR2005051300643.html They both sound like places I would like to visit, but for different reasons (Skylight for the meat and Lexington for the dessert and sides)

Many years ago I used to eat at a BBQ place in Charleston, SC. It was shredded pork. It was served with a unique sauce that had shredded meat mixed in. I was really good and very filling.
