Eastside Fish Nashville - "Home of the CRUNKEST Fish in Town" CLOSED

I was by Eastside Fish today on my way out of Nashville (avoiding the Interstates) and as I passed I saw a different sign on the wall of the building.  I turned around and headed back to take a closer look and sure enough  Eastside Fish is NO LONGER in existence (sp) but a new place has taken over the space.

The new place is called "Ghot Wingz" If I hadnt been so full from 400 degrees chicekn and loving pie companys pies and a special from Gabbys I would have stopped and tried the new place but I was stuffed.

If in fact the new place spells its name "Ghot", I wonder what they're selling:  There's an old brain teaser about the pronunciation of the word "ghot".  According to the solution, it's pronounced "fish".  That's "gh" as in "laugh", "o" as in "women", and "t" as in "motion"="fish" (obviously).

So are they serving Fish Wingz?  And what exactly would that be?

I guess when I sailed from here to Catalina I never questioned if fish had wings........

It's a fairly common sight here. But I think it would take a LOT of these wings to fill you up!

Ed Sails:  I saw million of those flying fish trying to escape our huge cruise boat in the Gulf.  I had never seen them before.  It appeared that some stayed in the air for 20-25 feet.  Very interesting.

Thanks for the info!  The review had already been archived.  I hate to see Roadfood places go out of business.

buffetbuster - has any talk re-surfaced about a link to dearly departed Roadfood restaurants?  Here's another example of one that could be "remembered" for future readers....

I have always liked that suggestion, but have no idea how it would work.  Let me talk to Stephen.

I wish you'd figure out how to type THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED and otherwise leave the reviews alone.  It's why I quit linking any of my blog's stories to Roadfood - I just create extra work for myself having to go back and delete a link because y'all keep deleting pages.
