I'll be honest. Last time I dined at El Bulli, they completely overcooked my order of stuffed snipe.

They overcooked your Bécassine Farcies sur des Croûtons? They've never done that when I've had it.

I feel your pain but I only ordered the snipe because they had already sold out of the evening's special, Fricase de Jackalope.

Oh, I was feeling no pain. I'm not sure I can say the same about someone who would have preferred jackalope, though.

Michael Hoffman I'm not sure I can say the same about someone who would have preferred jackalope, though. ...said the man who orders his unicorn steaks well-done.

You take that back! I never order my unicorn steaks well done, and you know that. You admit I never order them well done or I'll squeal about you demanding that the Pegasus wings be prepared without the Frank's hot sauce.

I apologize. It is a centaur steak you eat well done. My bad.

Well, the monkey brains that I ordered were not aged enogh. I complained and the next thing I knew they brought out a very old monkey with a hood over it's head and offered me a butcherknife............so really had great service!

You still have it wrong. It's centaur rump roast, not steak, that I like fairly well done, in the sense that a long braise results in the roast being well done, though fall-apart tender.

El Bulli is closing down soon, or so I've read! If I'm wrong I'll bet they will feel like I'm snipeing at them and I'll feel like a Jackalopeass!
