I hate to admit I like this chain, are they back east or just west coast?

They're popping up in Chicago as I recently saw one in the Chicagoland area. I also think I saw where they're heading into GA.

i've only seen them west ... i'd not be disappointed to see them east as they are, imo, decent.

It's my mother's fallback 'fast food but not that bad for you' chain. Lots of Cali-Mexi grilled chicken concoctions.

During our years in SoCal, we enjoyed El Pollo Loco frequently. I learned to ask for the chicken to be "Well-Done" as our local stand would get quite busy at times, and tended to 'rush' the grilling a bit, turning out some "medium rare' Birds at times. The 8 piece with flour tortillas was high on my list, as was the "Black Bean Bowl" for a smaller meal. We haven't seen one since we left SoCal in 2000.

They do have some in San Antonio, but not close to Schertz.
The food looks really good in the commercials.
They maybe expanding and around by us,we have Dona Totas Gorditas,a chain from Mexico, and Pollo Camperas a chain from El Salvedor or some other place.

I used to really enjoy them when living in Fresno, wouldn't mind at all seeing them out here.
