Is your brother drinking an Oly? If so, he'd of gotten along with my Uncle Bob from Torrance.
What year was that junk pic snapped?

Looks like around 1967. My oldest brother says that yes, my 10-year old brother was known to pick up abandoned beers on the occasion. Maybe that's what prompted my dad to snap that photo. So when we call Children's services to report the lack of railings or life vests and the ready availability of gasoline, we can add one more transgression to the list. Seriously, though, I'm just a wriggle away from the blue sharks.

Thanks Elise! I so love reading about your trips...we were debating a trip to Catalina when we are out there next week. I'm thinking we go at least for the flying fish boat ride! Sue

Totally worth it! there is a much faster boat now, the Catalina Express. The helicopter is great, but pricy...about 180. a person round trip. What area of LA are you staying in?
