Established in Ohio looking to move to Florida

I currently run a custom built 8x24 full service trailer in Ohio. I am equipped with 2 deep fryers, flat top, chargrill, 2-burner range, electric steam table, reach in cooler, and chest freezer. I currently set up weekdays on the street and profit around 100 daily and have relationships with most of our local events on the weekends during summer averaging 2500 in sales on the weekends. I am quite efficient and run most events on my own, by using past experience i can steadily feed a line of 10-15 ppl for 8 hrs straight. My menu consists of fresh cut fries, brats, dogs, chicken chunks, fried shrimp, mac-n-cheese wedges, burgers, ruebens,etc.... The problem is there is nothing going on in toledo during the winter. I am looking to construct a smaller open air unit with flat top, steam table, and single deep fryer to concentrate on fries, brats, dogs, and drinks. to transport to Florida for the winter. I have heard that the west coast is a tough go and I would like to get a few opinions from those of you working the on the gulf coast. Thanks weenieman

I remember when I was there in 95. I had to go dt to court filling theft carges on a co-worker and your cab system bites I stood out there for over an hour and was starving and saw no venders. In cinnci the court area has many and the lines are killer. On one you can smell the sausages and pepper/onion on the grill. It so intense its tough to wait your turn. I cant remember if traffic was light there. It was on weekday about 9-10 when I was there. b4 my disability got so bad I had considered opening a stand and dt court house always pops to mind fom cinci and chicago.
