EDIT: I'll do my own research, looks like my way of going about doing this people think is wrong. If I can figure out how to delete this thread, I will. nothing to see here!

So there's a Home Depot in Framingham? Home Depot really gets a good amount of customers here, at the hot dog vendor outside! That's pretty cool. I'm often tempted to get a dog when the vendor is at the entrance to a store. I don't know anything about that stuff but I do hope you can do it and make some bucks!

I know the Woody franchise did that with Lowes, and I was thinking about maybe trying to get something like that set up, on a smaller scale, at Home Depot in my location (don't bother looking at where I'm from in my profile...it isn't my true location ) Who do you think I have to contact within corporate at Home Depot? I have speficic plans for growth, and I already own a cart at a HD, but streeteats is really giving it to me hard. Thoughts? Why would you sign up to make your first post on a website, with an anonymous handle, to ask for help, and put in a false location?

quote:Originally posted by 95TA8280 I've been lurking for a VERY long time. Just because it's my first post doesn't mean that it's my first time on this site. I'd say I've been on this site for a year. I've also read hundreds, if not thousands of posts relating to hot dog, concession trailers, etc. The reason for a fake address was a don't want people's answers to be based on the fact they think I am close by and I might affect their business if THEY own a cart at Home Depot. If I gave tons of background and me and my cart, say I lived in XXXXX, California and I'm working out a huge deal to own the rights to every cart at HDs in the state, I don't think I would get very good responses. (that was all hypothetical, BTW) Didn't mean to offend anyone, I just was wondering thoughts on the idea. With a very few exceptions, the posters on this board are pretty straight shooters. Starting out with a deception is not a good way to endear yourself to the posters on this board. Me thinks you may have pooped in your bed.

95hushhs or Jman or whoever, I am sure the Home Depots in CA are waiting by the phone waiting for you to call. Please hurry, they really need someone to run all those carts! What are you thinking?

Please hurry, they really need someone to run all those carts! What are you thinking? I was thinking that Lowe's has something set up exclusively with a hot dog vendor, Lowe's wins by getting good money from them, making customers and employees happy by offering good, consistant food (theoretically) by the same vendor. Home Depot might be interested in that. I'm guessing the owner of the Woodys Franchise is a millionaire by getting exclusive with Lowe's. Where I live there's a bunch of HDs, but either few carts or poor carts. Sorry for trying to think outside the box on how to try to set something up. Everyday there's 3 or 4 new posts about "how do I start a cart?" "do I need a license?" etc and I was asking thoughts on something new. Sorry for taking up all your time.
