FF secret "not on the menu" items. Wed, 10/25/06 3:55 PM (permalink)
I have read here that In n Out has lotsa stuff thats not on their menu. I think White Castle does also. Anyone know of other secret stuff not on the menus at any FF places? Other FF tips or tricks welcome.

The one I know about is the " Double Burito Supreme " at Taco Bell. I think it used to be on some menus but you can still order it at some locations. My sweety makes me get her one sometimes. She loves em. All kinds of stuff piled on there, makes 2 meals for her. Not bad when forced to get something at TB.

I have never tried ordering them maybe someone here has. But I have been told at Hooters they have mild, hot, and three mile island on the menu. Not on the menu are Bentleys which are hotter than the Three Mile Island. May be an urban legend unless someone else knows.

I know that Wing Street has some super hot wings. You must sign a medical release before they let you order them. On of my grandzillas brought me 3 of them home one night, cause he knows I love hot stuff. I could only eat 2!!! He and his freinds got a big kick outa me not eating all 3. I ate the last one the next day. Way toooo hot IMHO. Those ARE on the menu.

I've heard of In-N-Out's secret menu (Animal Style, Meat by Cheese etc.) What's on White Castle's secret menu? Is it just burgers with ketchup/mustard? 'Cause I know about those.
You can get a double Big Mac at some McDonald's locations. It's usually not on the menu. That's all that comes to mind right now.

Wendy's "Double Stack" burger used to be on their value menu, but (at least
here at the Wendy's I go to) you can still get it by request ($1.29).

In-n-Out's secret menu is just lingo for ordering. As far as I've heard they don't offer anything that's not on their minimal menu (but they get great praise from me for offering grilled onions).

            Here's the "official" version. http://www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp

Subway has a sandwich not on the menu, called the Veggie Max, it's a hot veggie sandwich with all the fixings & TVP patties instead of meat.

When I worked at McDonald's, this was just a slice of cheese on a lukewarm toasted bun. Not exactly what I think of when I hear "grilled cheese."

I cannot even get a 99 cent double cheeseburger from McDonald's unless I travel a minimum of 40+ miles. The local area McDee's finds it inappropriate to offer such. On the other hand, I have not seen a "toasted bun" on ANY McDonald's sandwich besides their EggMcMuffin for over a decade now. Not that I really care, but just how much does it cost to TOAST a friggin' hamburger bun???

40 miles, I hate when that happens Adj!!! And... they won't toast your bun, thats even worse. Don't take this wrong, I'm serious! If I owned McD francise it would be a different story. How hard could it be to do things like that for your customers?

My wife orders blackened chicken salad at applebee's on the rare occasion we eat there. Hasn't been on the menu for a few years but they will still knock it out if you order it.

Good to know. I like In 'n Out when I'm in California, but I've always thought the fries were underdone. I'll ask for crispy next time.

I don't know about secret but to get my fries hot and fresh, I always ask for no salt on my fries, then at the window ask for packets of salt.

drives em nuts, but my fries are hot and fresh

Wendy's used to have "cheese fries" on their menu but they seem to have dropped it from the Wendy's that I frequent. But they are still available if you ask for them!
