I am pretty sure chicagostyledog has posted about one somewhat similar (but not as fancy) in WI. Locally, we have the Burger Barge (not fancy at all) which does very well.: http://burgerbargeinc.com/

Here in Corpus, you not only have to follow the Health Dept Guidelines but you also have to follow the guidelines set out by the harbourmaster (or whomever is in charge of the waterways around here).

Can you down rig in between sales? Catch some fish for supper. That's what I need, a job that combines work and fishing.

That's not what it's about, and you know that. LMAO, But there are some up sides to it look at all the (.) (.) you'd get to see while your slamming the cash in the drawer. LOL I don't know about your area but on all the lakes in Illinois every cove is full of boats all tied together, and everyone is drinking beer, and laying in the sun. Some coves will have 1 or 2 hundred boats tied together. And then there are the jet ski coves. Pretty cool summers in the Midwest.

I like looking at them too, although I would much rather touch them. It's almost as much fun as fishing.

While I was in the Navy I played basketball, we traveled all the time but when the season was over I was officially assigned to an LCM, as per below. Now this would make an extremely neat party - food barge. But at 52 feet long impossible to trailer to the lake. LOL LCM 6 Type Class Propulsion: 2- Detroit 6-71 Diesel engines; 348 hp sustained; twin shaft, or 2- Detroit 8V-71 Diesel engines; 460 hp sustained; twin shaft. Length: 56.2 feet (17.1 meters). Beam: 14 feet (4.3 meters). Displacement: 64 tons (65.03 metric tons) full load. Speed: 9 kts (10.3 mph, 16.6 kph). Range: 130 miles at 9 knots. Crew: 5 Load: 34 tons (34.55 metric tons) or 80 troops.

Now I thought this was Fish'n Que'ing No fishing, yet that I seen, No cook'n yet MENTIONED. Skipper, kegger, lost one, probaly left his shoes on, and scrubber. I'm missing sumthing. No lawn chairs, no idea what for and where as. I just would like Jack to bring a Quart of Chili. simple to the point. We all are going to argue over Menu. Smoked fish, smoked meat, no one knows where we are going, and as a lonely scrubber, to put it mildly, better be south to LA. for Boudin. The boat is trailerable, we use to move that size and larger all the time. we moved more crap, than you can imagine. Some boats, blowboats, take 5 trucks

Ice Cream King you may be in trouble, you may not be able to come have a beer and fish on my boat with Billy and myself. Vt. farmer draws a line at US bid to bolster border Homeland Security threatens to seize property. Homeland Security officials counter that modernizing border facilities should be a national priority. US Customs and Border Protection received $420 million in federal stimulus funds to renovate ports of entry along the Canadian and Mexican borders. http://www.boston.com/new...bid_to_bolster_border/

Yep, got 8 Million to spend, give the farmer 39500. Then they won't likely let him cross north to play hockey and drink good beer. If they gave us the 8 million, we could set up dogs and ice cream and keep a eye on the boarder for them. Well at least from 10 till 2.

Wow I never dreamed they would be worth that much. Hell I could buy a fleet of Pontoon boats for that kind of money. In fact I could buy the best and longest pontoon boat and rig it with 4 star equipment for half that amount. LOL Well there will never be an LCM on Lake Springfield. So we go back to plan (A) and continue looking for an older pontoon boat to rebuild, for my food party barge.
