One other thing, what kind of dogs do they seem to like in the area. I am still going to sell zweigles sausages though.

I don't think there are any "pure" hot dog places in Cincinnati/N Ky. If there are, i am not aware of them. Generally, one gets a hot dog at a place where they are a side-line - they sell hot dogs, but mostly other stuff - or at the ball park, or at a chili place, where you almost never see someone order a plain dog, they're ordering coneys (chili dogs) or cheese coneys (same, with shredded cheese). Two exceptions: 1) you'll find dog carts in downtown Cincinnati during the seasonal months. They don't seem to do a lot of business 2) Mr Gene's Doghouse http://archive.cinweekly.com/content/2004/05/19/0519outtoeat_mrgenes.asp

I reside in Mt Washington, which is a few miles southeast of downtown Cincinnati I work downtown. Until February of this year, I worked in Fairfield, and I lived in Fairfield from the ages of 12 through 21.

Kahn's are wonderful hotdogs -- if the last thing you want when you eat a hotdog is flavor, and, if mushiness is a priority.

That bad, huh? Well, if you've ever eaten a Hummel's, Rosselers, Hebrew National, Nathan's (natural casing), Boar's Head, or any other real hotdog, yes, Kahn's is that bad.

Actually, Kahn's are a pretty good local product. I like HDs with casing, but Kahn's are fine, IMHO. It's what Skyline uses under their chili for You have to be one brave dude to frequent Mr. Gene's. We've had a few dogs there when my boys played baseball at Hille field, but I've seen some frightening things in that neighborhood. Dogs are OK, but not worth the risk to go there.

Ohman, the only place in Fairfield I could think that might possibly support a hot dog cart/stand is Village Green area, off Rt 127, and where city hall, the new art building, and the "heart" of Fairfield is.

Well I am going to go check out Fairfield but I am having my doubts as to if I try to setup there. My wife wants to move on to Texas so we may do that. I am worried about the winters in Ohio more than anything.

I am going to check into that when I get there. I am going to be staying in Fairfield but that does not mean I have to work there.
