Autumn is coming and in my neck of the woods many towns and village
throw fall festival that offer good foods, music, craft vendors and
artisans, children's activities, and other forms of entertainment.
This is a partial list and if everyone would like, I can add as I find
more happenings. If not, this will be the only list I'll give.
Sept. 9- Broadway Hometown Partnership's Autumn Days Craft Show- 65 vendors, crafters and artisans. Square dancers and a horseshoe tournament. 9 a.m. -4 p.m. More info, call 540-896-4992
Sept.22 and 23- Timberville Hertitage Day- on the 22nd at 6:30 p.m.
there will be a parade. On the 23rd festivities begin at 9 a.m..
It offers helicopter rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, music, children's
activities, and apple butter boil and plenty of good foods. More info call 540-896-7058
Sept.22-24- Hardy County (W. Va.) Heritage Weekend- Activities happening at Lost River and also in Mathias. Crafts, music, and food,

Dayton has Dayton Days, but haven't the dates or info yet.
If you live in D.C. Area, Pa., Maryland, you're roughly 3 or 4 hours from most of these places.
Just offering a few choices for a place to go on a free weekend.
