Hi,

We are a television production company. We are interested in doing a show on family owned and operated restaurants in the United States. Can anyone suggest some restaurants we should take a good look at?

Hmmm, this has been viewed 30 times but no one has responded.

Are you for real, triplethreat? Are you a troll? You give a vague question, provide no background or detail, and say, using the royal 'we', that you are a television company.

Give us a reason to believe you.

Jasmine Bistro, Brighton (Boston) Massachusetts. Intimate "cafe" style dining room with old-World service in a decidedly non-destination neighborhood. Everyone is treated as a special customer, but it is a frequent haunt of nieghborhood politicians. Family, I understand, is Afghani and the patriarch trained in kitchens in Budapest so the menu is divided between several dishes each of French, Hungarian and Middle Eastern. I've heard that as the younger generations are growing he is looking to open another restaurant in the suburbs or off-the-beaten track in Boston.

Triple Threat Television, a New York City based television production
company, is holding a nation-wide search for a dynamic family-owned
and operated restaurant as the subject for their next project.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for a restaurant that is eager
to showcase the story of true family bonds, industry insights, and
most importantly, the food that brings everyone together.

In our quest, we are seeking individuals who have put everything into
their restaurants and are ready to show the world a fresh perspective.
We are out to discover the close-knit relationships, inevitable drama
and, of course, the great food for which family-owned restaurants are
known. If you or someone you know owns a family restaurant, we would
          love to hear your story.

Contact us at thefamilyrestaurant@gmail.com or 212-678-7600.

*FULL SERVICE restaurant* No take out or cafe.

Click on the Restaurants tab at the top of the page. The Sterns have spent years reviewing, eating and studying these Mom and Pops.. You can also click on the Merchandise tab and have your own personal reference book.. Best of luck to your venture.

Thank you for your gracious response, Triple Threat. My apologies. And thank everyone else for not flaming me skyhigh.

                Mea Culpa.

Suggest Mark's Kitchen in Takoma Park, Maryland

Also might try the original Ledo's in Adelphi, Maryland.
