Farmer Brown's Steak House

I visited this steakhouse two years ago in Waterloo NE and have been raving about since.
Apparently they were featured on the travel channel here

The video clip is great. Here's a link to the website so you can check the total menu and prices. We would certainly go there if in the area!

Farmer Brown's is just West of Suburban Omaha as you're getting into the country.
Rule of thumb in Omaha - visit 2 steakhouses
Johnny's Cafe for the omaha strip
    Farmer Brown's for prime rib

WJ, the video was amazing! Thanks. Incredible ribeye steaks perfectly cooked. Now I have to clean my drool off the keyboard.

That's quite an appealing menu and certainly reasonably priced for the regional items. I guess what I mean by that is that it seems appropriate for a place in Omaha a thousand miles from the nearest ocean to charge considerably more for non local items such as lobster and very reasonable prices for the beef which is literally right next door.
Now if I could only get the seafood places here in Florida to think that way.

I've only been to Omaha once (several years ago, to speak at the university), and the only dinner I had was at the Press Club, so I didn't get to try any of these places.  Wish I could have!  I would love to go back and visit the Durham Museum.

The prices at Farmer Brown's seem extremely reasonable, for everything, seafood included -- at least as compared to supper clubs in the Minneapolis area.
