Fast Food Burgers Sun, 05/25/03 8:27 PM (permalink)
Hi all, new here...

We have a local chain here in Richmond Va called Bullets. They have what I think are the best fast food burgers I have had, like home-made, using leaf lettuce too. Their bacon double cheeseburger is huge. Like all chains of course, quality depends on location but I have had great luck so far. They have drive though and walk up only, no indoor service. Try them if you are in the area.

I will look up Bullets next time I'm in Richmond. I ate at a really neat little diner, close to the Edgar Allan Poe Museum, and then discovered it is a small local chain with 3 or 4 other locations around town. Quite good.
One of my better liked national chains is Steak & Shake because their burgers remind me of ones I made as a teen at home.

Steak'n'Shake is excellent. Stopped at one in Indiana on the way home to Wisconsin from Tennessee. There are none here in Northeast Wisconsin so it was a good treat. Oh well, we do have Culvers. And Toms Drive-in. We have an actual 50's style diner right in town called The Cruise-In diner located just off the highway. One of the few restaraunts that asks how you want your hamburger done.

jdg68: a small local chain called Mio's happens, quite oddly, to have a few locations in Richmond Virginia. Very, very good pizza, particularly their Chicago-style stuffed pizza.

Have you been there? Easily my favorite chain pizza here in Cincinnati

I haven't been on here in a long time! I believe we have ordered Mio's at work but honestly I can't recall much about it. I guess I am a bit of a pizza snob having grown up in NY state.
Still a Bullets fan here though.
