Fast Food Nation

Anyone read it? What did you think?

I'm about halfway through, the author is about to take the tour through the slaughterhouses.

There are two somewhat lengthy threads on this book already:

    http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=557&SearchTerms=fast+food+nation

    http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1113&SearchTerms=fast+food+nation

Considering that this book is now something like five years old, I would imagine that there are fewer people "currently" reading this book.

Brace yourself. You may notice your appetite for beef will disappear for a while. I try to buy organic beef whenever possible these days.

If you look at the Prime Cuts thread, I just recently experienced a wonderful ut of beef. Wolfes Neck.. They are home grown, (for the most part) here in Maine about 5 miles away from me, and it was such a wonderful, and TASTY( if i may express it in those terms)palate sensation, that I dont think I will ever buy genaric beef cuts again.
This was some of the best beef that I have EVER eaten.! Here is the link that was posted originally.
