I love the fact they made it a movie! Blows me away of some of the major actors in Hollywood that took part.. Book was wicked, but it still blows my mind they made a flick out of it...

I didn't read the book or see the movie, but I have had my fill of exposes that will leave me never wanting to eat __________ again. I would have very little to eat, and would most certainly never eat in a restaurant, if I took all these to heart. This one may have been deeper than others, and been about more than the evils of food preparation, but I say no thanks. I'd rather enjoy my meal, flaws and all, in ignorance! I figure it will give me a stronger immune system!

THE JUNGLE, by Upton Sinclair, never put me off eating meat, neither did working for Sugardale meats, nor does slaughtering and buthering cattle, lamb, pig, deer etc. Fast Food Nation didn't put me off either. Movies about plane crashes haven't stopped me from flying, and so on and so forth.

I see there is no release date yet for this.."Fall release".. Apparently it didnt get such a good reception at the Cannes Film Festival.... Below is taken off the "net".... The movie uses a fictionalized approach instead of being a documentary, telling the story from the point of view of people involved in the industry. The ensemble cast includes Greg Kinnear, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Ethan Hawke, Luis Guzman, Patricia Arquette, Kris Kristofferson, Lou Taylor Pucci, Ana Claudia Talancon, Esai Morales, Wilmer Valderrama, Bruce Willis, and Avril Lavigne.
