That picture is making me hungry! Reminds me of my days working in on Main Street in Waltham, MA. Once a week I'd walk down the street to Costello's Pub w/ a buddy and we'd get the Salisbury Steak for lunch. Served over mashed potatoes and smothered w/ mushroom gravy and sauteed onions & peppers. Who needed dinner!? I haven't been down in that area for a while, but a quick Google search tells me Costello's is now closed. I guess the "townies" must've found someplace else to go have a beer at 9am. :-) John (also a child of the Swanson Salisbury Steak frozen dinners)

A frequent visitor to Salisbury, Vermont (Lake Dunmore), I've always wanted to have a Salisbury steak in Salisbury, Vermont. But, alas, there is only one snack food restaurant in Salisbury, and although they once dubbed one of their hamburgers a Salisbury Steak, it was more a euphemism than the real deal. The Bear
