Bobby: I’d like a plain omelet, no potatoes – tomatoes instead, a cup of coffee and toast.
    Waitress: No substitutions.
Bobby: What do you mean, you don’t have any tomatoes?
Waitress: Only what’s on the menu. You can have a #2 – a plain omelet, comes with cottage fries and rolls.
Bobby: Yeah, I know what it comes with, but it’s not what I want.
Waitress: I’ll come back when you make up your mind.
Bobby: Wait a minute, I have made up my mind. I’d like a plain omelet, no potatoes on the plate, a cup of coffee and a side order of wheat toast.
Waitress: I’m sorry, we don’t have any side orders of toast. I can bring you an english muffin or a coffee roll.
Bobby: What do you mean you don’t make side orders of toast? You make sandwiches, don’t you?
Waitress: Would you like to talk to the manager?
Bobby: You’ve got bread and a toaster of some kind?
Waitress: I don’t make the rules.
Bobby: Okay, I’ll make it as easy for you as I can. I’d like an omelet, plain, and a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast, no mayonnaise, no butter, no lettuce and a cup of coffee.
Waitress: A #2, chicken salad sand. Hold the butter, the lettuce, the mayonnaise, and a cup of coffee. Anything else?
Bobby: Yeah, now all you have to do is hold the chicken, bring me the toast, give me a check for the chicken salad sandwich, and you haven’t broken any rules.
Waitress: You want me to hold the chicken, huh?
Bobby: I want you to hold it between your knees.

    Context required:
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" - geeky Willow is feeling low, seeing herself as a boring doormat. She's boldly contemplating eating a banana before lunchtime. Her two best friends show up and inadvertently make her feel worse. She angrily declares her potential for boldness:  "Maybe I'll change my look. Or cut class. You don't know!...And I'm eating this banana, lunchtime be damned!"

"Bob's Burgers" - the kids are going out for Halloween without their parents for the first time. Son Gene excitedly declares "We're born alone, we die alone, and in between we trick-or-treat alone!"

The scene near the beginning of the movie, Pulp Fiction, when Samuel L. Jackson, and John Travolta, bust in on the young guys who stole drugs. The guys are eating Cheeseburgers, Big Kahuna Burgers, Jackson asks for a bite, "that's a might tasty burger"...etc, too long to type, but you know the scene. The young guys KNEW they were going to die, and Jackson is going on about tasty burgers and a Sprite, knowing he was about to shoot them!

    Oddball: Hi, man.
Big Joe: What are you doing?
Oddball: I'm drinking wine and eating cheese, and catching some rays, you know.
    Big Joe: What's happening???
Oddball: Well, the tank's broke and they're trying to fix it.
Big Joe: Well, then, why the hell aren't you up there helping them?
Oddball: [chuckles] Oh man, I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work.
    Big Joe: Christ!
    Oddball: Definitely an antisocial type.

"The Emperor's New Groove" - Villainess Yzma's not-very-bright, not-very-evil henchman Kronk finds himself alone in a restaurant kitchen:
Waitress: (Poking head in) Ordering. Three pork combos, extra bacon on the side, two chili cheese samplers, a basket of liver and onion rings, a catch of the day, and a steak cut in the shape of a trout. You got all that, honey?
Kronk: (long pause)...Three oinkers wearing pants, plate of hot air, basket of Grandma's breakfast and change the bull to a gill, got it.

Late in the movie, Yzma angrily chews him out, and in a moment that shifts his allegiance, concludes "And do you want to know something else? I've never liked your spinach puffs! NEVER!" ("That's it - she's going down.")

From Monty Python's The Meaning of Life

Maitre D: ... moules marinieres, pate de foie gras, beluga caviar, eggs  Benedictine, tart de poireaux - that's leek tart - frogs' legs
amandine or oeufs de caille Richard Shepherd - c'est a dire, little quails' eggs on a bed of pureed mushrooms, it's very delicate, very subtle...

Mr Creosote: I'll have the lot.

Maitre D: A wise choice, monsieur! And now, how would you like it
served? All mixed up in a bucket?

Mr Creosote: Yes. With the eggs on top.

Maitre D: But of course, avec les oeufs frites.

Mr Creosote: And don't skimp on the pate.

Maitre D: Oh monsieur I can assure you, just because it is mixed up
with all the other things we would not dream of giving you
less than the full amount. In fact I will personally make sure
you have a *double* helping. Maintenant quelque chose a
boire - something to drink, monsieur?

Mr Creosote: Yeah, six bottles of Chateau Latour '45 and a double
      Jeroboam of champagne.

Maitre D: Bon, and the usual brown ales...?

Mr Creosote: Yeah... No wait a minute... I think I can only manage
      six crates today.

    And how did that continue?
Waiter: Ohh, I hope monsieur did not overdo it last night!
    Mr. Creosote: SHUT UP!

I liked their 'Church Police' sketch with a couple at the dinner table:
    He: What's for afters?
She: Well, there's rat cake, rat sorbet, rat pudding, and strawberry tart.
    He: Strawberry tart?!
She: Well, it's got some rat in it...
    He: How much?
She: ...Three. Rather a lot, really.

Another "Buffy" favorite - the gang is in a library research session on how to stop an imminent apocalypse, a box of doughnuts on the table - librarian/watcher Giles is saying:
Giles: ...all I know is, the fate of the world may very well depend on (looks down)...did you eat all the jellies?
Buffy (guiltily): Did you want a jelly?
Giles: I always have a jelly! I'm the one who always says 'Let's have some jellies in the mix'!
Willow: We're sorry! ...Buffy had three!
