For those of you that are interested in old gas stations - and I suspect that there are a few here - Wisconsin Public Television is airing a 30-minute show about "historically significant" stations starting tonight. Air times:

7-12-07, 7:30pm CDT
7-14-07, 10:30 pm CDT
7-15-07, 4:30pm CDT

Sorry, it didn't make it. But that's a neat building nonetheless; we're going to be in NW WI at the end of the month and if we take a day trip to Duluth I might try to work in a side trip.

I watched the show last night and it probably still could've easily been 60 minutes long instead of 30. The accompanying book comes out next year and I'm planning on buying a copy.

Besides, if a Minnesota station were to be featured it would probably be a photo of some fully-regaled Packer/Badger fans relieving themselves against it...
