Looking for a restaurant in the greater Stroudsburg, PA area for an informal place, any type of food
where we can talk on a first date

    As you are near the Poconos there are many hotel dining rooms that are conduicive to quiet conversation.

        yes there are many hotels near Poconos

        And many of them have heart shaped beds and Jacuzzi's in them!!

          Yaa, the hotel dining option might be taken the wrong way by your date.  It could be taken as a little too presumptive on a first date, even if that's not the intent.   I'd stick to a restaurant that's not in a hotel.
