First night time event - lights?

I'm doing my first night time event over Labor Day weekend. I use a pop up tent with my sign mounted above the tent. I need to light up the sign as well as the work area. I'm worried about bugs. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I have done some small street festivals and use a car battery/inverter with rope lites. Works great. Usally two nites only and plenty of juice left. Summer months only use about 3-4 hrs. each nite.

Yup, inverters and deep cycle marine batteries will be your new friend!

Should have mentioned that I have electric available. Mostly worried about attracting tons of bugs but also want plenty of light on my sign. Thanks.

Bug lights are yellow and don't attract many bugs, look for yellow lighting. RJF
