These may have been covered elsewhere, but I used to stick a tablet into my mouth to see how long I could keep it in. Not long. The original Fizzies were great....and I loved Flavr Straws...as hokey as they were. Back then, we didn't say hokey, we said "cool"...now we recognize hokey more easily. Hokey is when you know it's bad, but the nerdy people try it anyway..to show how "cool" they are.

Dip and Sip! My next door neighbor's father worked for Flavor Straws and we had a huge cardboard box of the chocolate flavor. Now did you really like the flavor of that orange chocolate milk? How about pulling the strip out of the straw an putting it on your tongue?

Fizzies are still around; you can get them from one of the nostalgia candy companies on the Web. Flavor straws were cool; I always dissected them and sucked on that piece of flavored, saturated cardboard.

Yes, and then the powder would fall all over the floor and it was even more fun to spill water and watch the floor fizz!!!!
