I had my first burger of the season...excellent as always!

For anyone interested, Flo's opened for the summer 2008 season this weekend. I haven't checked to see if there have been menu changes, but will report back when I do!

Time for my annual...they are open for the season report. A bit early this year!

Once again, I am reporting on the opening of my local favorite, Flo's in Blue Point , which opens for the season today. I'll report back after I have my first meal of the year.

Soutwest flies to Islip MacArthur, I'll pick you up there. It is a 5 minute ride. You want fries with that burger?

The Sunrise and Montauk Hwys will be loaded with cars headed to Blue Pernt
this summer. 

The sand in the sandwichs will be overlooked
as long as the burgers ain't over-cooked.

You will be famous ----honorary Mayor at least.

They usually stay open into late September...depends on weather and their ability to keep staff after the summer. Their web site is minimal, and doesn't  list opening and closing. They are on facebook, perhaps that will prove more informative. Just send me a message when you are heading to Montauk and I'll let you know about status.

It is a short way from home, and a place I go to often during the summer. If it wasn't raining so hard I might be there for lunch right now!

BTW, I have had the pleasure of sticking Tony with the bill at Flo's.  The food is so good, I can't wait to do it again
