To celebrate the publication of Gourmet's "August Summer Reading Digest," which will ship with the August issue of the magazine, the 92nd Street Y in New York will be hosting a panel of editor Ruth Reichl along with contributors to the digest including Ann Patchett, David Rakoff, and yours truly, Jane & Michael. Michael,it's a shame Food Network or some other food show doesn't tape such panels as this and broadcast them.
I'm a lover of C-Span, and they often tape political panels and book signings that most people can't
go and see in person.
Maybe you could suggest such an idea to someone.
