felix4067 bartl, I'm kind of curious why it is you tend to make fun of the recalls. I mean, yeah, some of them seem silly to me, too, but when the labels are wrong the product has to be recalled. If it's a recall that doesn't affect my life, I just scroll on by.
When the recall has something funny about it, I point it out, notably if it's based on something that only a bureaucrat could get upset about, such as an undeclared ingredient that is part of the name of the food (like butter pecan ice cream being recalled for undeclared pecans). Sometimes, such as the chicken noodle soup, the recall doesn't make sense unless you read the entire notice (as I did, and pointed out why the recall did make sense). And a lot of it is to let 6star know that at least one person is not only reading about the recalls, but also going through the links and reading them thoroughly. And when the recall does seem serious to me, I mention that, as well. And do note that most of my comments are expansions based on reading the details, not making fun.
