I sale the Vienna 12" foot long. I do not use it as my main dog but more of a specialty or promotion type.

If it is Vienna he most likley is getting it from a food distributer or Resturant Depot. If you are want to do foot longs you can check with Resturant Depot or even Chef Smart may have it or can order them for you. If it were me I would rather do the 1/4 dogs so I didnt have to carry two size buns. Thats if I were wanting to do a "gimick" style dog like a footlong. Unless you were wanting to do foot long only then no need top worry about the bun issue. Sam's nor Costco to my knowledge sells footlong dogs. I think most people prefer the standard size.

Many years ago I tried the foot longs. Got both the franks and buns from Ben E. Keith. Never went well. Sold so many reguular size I ended up taking the foot longs off the menu.
