For those of you who don't know

This really does work....Try it!!!!

This is for everyone whose eyesight isn't what it used to be. It's very useful when trying to read small e-mail print (especially in the early hours).

If you hold down the Ctrl key on your key board and turn the small wheel in the middle of your mouse, the print size will change - it will either get larger or smaller - depending on which way you turn the wheel.

Pass this on to other friends who may find it very useful

I don't have a mouse. Just an old scruffy cat. I now own 6 pairs of glasses plus contacts so I guess I don't need the mouse. Or the cat.

For those without a wheel mouse the font will do the same by holding down Ctrl and pushing either + or -.

You can also go to the "view" menu under "text size" and choose a larger or smaller font size.

I compare the abundance of my grey hair's to the amount of years I have had a PC. Every year, there seems to be more!
At least I dont pull it out!
Oh, BTW, enginecapt, thanks for all your help with the PC.
As soon as I uninstalled AOL from it, it ran like a charm.

you can also press down your wheel then slide the mouse to move the page, instead of rolling the wheel.

Does anyone know who reinvented the wheel?

I have been using cable modem or dsl for about 3 years now.
Been with AOL for almost 6.
They only time I was directly linked to AOL was when I was on dial-up.
HTC-Horry County Telephone Co-op is my service provider, which I am using their DSL. I think it runs about 3mb(?-does that sound right?) according to the broadband test.

I had just hung on to AOL for some unknown reason.
My email is thru Yahoo now. Though, it seems I still can maintain my AOL email addies.
