On a recent trip to one of our favorite area of Florida we tried several places new to us.  The City Diner in West Palm was really good-very busy with locals-tight sitting but worth the crowd and wait time.
The Chima (a Brazilian Steakhouse) was a great treat.  The garden area at the entrance was lovely and the glassed in area where the meats were grilled was interesting to watch.  Their salad bar is nothing like the traditional ones-I would like to just be able to eat it for a meal!  We were served 15 different meats (rodizio service)-they also have locations in DC, Philly and Charlotte.  It is certainly worth a visit even if it isn't roadfood.  They discovered it was our anniversary and sent out a dessert.  Their desserts are to die for! The Sea Ranch Diner in Pompano is worth a trip-nice to eat outside.
The Coconut Creek casino still has the best breakfast buffet.
