Any good grub around the Allen County Coliseum?  Never been to Ft. Wayne before, any suggestions (food or tourist traps) would be highly appreciated!!

A few months ago, I was driving through Fort Wayne and stopped at Powers Hamburgers.  House in a quaint little art deco building,

    they make sensational sliders,

covered in fried onions.  This place is well worth the stop.

I am assuming its still there, Fort Waynes Famous Coney island on main use to always be a stop for my  family when we would go shoping in Fort Wayne. Of course that was decades ago.Powers is def a good stop also.

Two summers ago I visited Coney Island for the hot dogs and Powers for the hamburgers (sliders).  Both were pretty good.  I wouldn't say I was bowled over by either, but they were above average.  I hope to be back again.

Not sure if that question was directed at me but the answer is neither. We rolled through too late.
