Frank's Soda?

Does anyone remember Frank's soda. I remember they had great flavors.

    It's still made, but it's not nearly as easy to find as it was in years past. I used to practically live on their black cherry wishniak.

    I see it mostly in delis; espcially Jewish-style delis. I know they have a big selection of it at Stein's Famous Deli on Krewstown Rd. in Northeast Philly. Famous Fourth Street Deli used to carry just the black cherry, but I'm not sure if they still do since they switched ownership. I'm sure there are a few other places out there that carry it, but I can't say where.

    Frank himself used to visit a resort I worked at as Asst. Golf Pro - back in the day in PA. He was a "large" man and I enjoyed his stories when I gave him lessons. He always ended up giving me a case of drinks or two. I liked the ginger ale, cola, and grapefruit soda, but I wasn't too fond of the many other "exotic" flavors. I know the company was based in Philly, but I thought Frank lived in CT.

    I can't find Frank's, but Hank's soda's are my favorite, especially the Black Cherry!
