I am trying to locate the very best restaurants in Fredricksburg, VA for a very special event.  Thanks for any help.

    We were there this summer and I don't really recall anything that was what I would call "Fine dining." We weren't looking for that either though.
    It's probably not what you are looking for but just in case and since you haven't had a nibble in almost 24 hrs, I'll offer up Sammy T's.

      When the weather is fine, of course, you must go to Carl's.  This is for after your dinner--a small ice cream stand that has a line around the block most of the time. Carl's has a well-deserved reputation for delicious ice cream and has been an institution in the 'burg for decades.

        I've heard good things about Popular Hill, Bistro Bethem, Kenmore Inn and Les Petit Auberge Rest, but have never dined at any of them.

          This place is located in Downtown F'burg. They only serve dinner. The phone number is (540) 371-8020. To place a reservation, call between 4 pm and 9 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
