Free Online Concerts

Ran across this a bit ago and I've really been enjoying it. http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ You do have to register to listen but it's free and they protect your privacy. I've not had any problems with extra spam, nor does my anti virus go bonkers when I visit their site. No lag either on the playbacks. Another option they offer is to pay a small fee to download your favorites. But it's not mandatory. If you like live music it's a great site to surf and listen to. Have fun!

We've been having a blast with the wolfgang's vault people here at the copyright office. But, the web site is very cool. They stream concerts on the site, which you can listen to for free (you cannot download them) and you can pay to download a concert that you can keep on your computer. The concerts they have are amazing. Top venues, small venues, all sorts of places. They also sell original concert posters and other concert paraphenalia.

I've been listening to these shows since they put them online. I had some advance notice- a music biz buddy of mine brokered the deal between the Bill Graham estate and the guy that owns the stuff now. Most of these shows were also filmed or videotaped- and that stuff will come out some day, too. I have listened to shows that I actually attended, most from the Fillmore East. What a blast! Ron
