Freezers and friges? Sat, 02/12/11 3:20 PM (permalink)
Hi, what do you guys use in your trailers? I already own a Traulsen double-door freezer, and an Arctic Air single door fridge, both commercial items. Is this enough? My tow truck will have a 7'x8' walk-in reefer built into the back, so I'm guessing fresh space will be fine...not sure about frozen.

If I put that big Traulsen thing in my 24' trailer (it's a Haulmark) should it go over the axles? I remember it being heavy, but not too bad - dad and I were able to move it by hand into my utility trailer when we bought it. However, all my gas-fired appliances will be against the front wall, since the hood is already there, and all the gas plumbing. Maybe I need to put the fridge-freezer in the back, to balance the load?
Suggestions welcome!
Dave
