If it were my Mom's I could eat it every day but........ It would have to be very, very good fried chicken, and in my opinion, that is difficult to come by. But love the good stuff, enough to eat it every day. Donna

Hello Laurie212. Welcome. I would not eat fried chicken everyday. In fact, I would not eat fried chicken any day. I detest fried chicken.

These are such funny responses to the question. I needed the chuckles. I guess eating one thing everyday would become tiresome, but it would be nice to be able to taste my Mom's fried chicken at least once more in my lifetime....but that's impossible. Guess I wouldn't want it EVERY day. Thanks for the humorous replies. Donna

Pete, most folks in the world fast at least one day a month. Therefore they would not eat fried chicken everyday, or grits as Adj suggested. Or, did Adj mean he eats grits everyday? [B) Joe

I personally do not like anything every day. I like variety and doing certain kinds of food on a daily basis would get very tiresome. I am not sure why the poster entered such a question?? Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Hello All, I must confess to eating a salad, with french fries, horseradish sauce on the side to dip the fries in, everyday, except Saturdays. Every other meal then is open for whatever I hunger for or can get. But in my salad, I can create a world of diverse flavours and options. Fried Chicken everyday? In my family history, it was reserved for the Sunday meal. Currently, my wife doesn't know how to make real fried chicken. It seems Mr. George Foreman has created an instrument that my wife uses anytime chicken is made at home. Sometimes, I miss being a child. Take Care, Fieldthistle

"Sometimes, I miss being a child." I think that's true for all of us. To answer the question, I could eat good fried chicken every other day, I love it. John

traditional fried chicken everyday? probably not, since i try to limit myself to 20 grams of fat per day, but i do like the stuff :) my mother made skinless fried chicken when we were young, she would marinade it overnight, flour/egg/crumbs breading, shallow-fried in a cast-iron skillet. i would eat that everyday if i could, even without the greasy skin it was great stuff.

Skillet fried chicken is my absolute favorite food on earth, and I eat it twice a year. I'm fine with that. Still trying to figure out the point of the original post.

I do love fried chicken, but only when it's GOOD....(light floury crusty batter, etc)(the way I like it).....give me Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles in LA! (wish I was'nt on the other coast) everyday would be a bit much, though.....come on now..

I used to work a quick walk from Deacon Burton's and could easily have eaten fried chicken, griddlecakes, and peach cobbler every day. I figured it would be a short life, but a happy one. (On the other hand, the Deacon lived well into his 90s)

Count me as one of those who need variety.. I can eat something 2 days running... 3 at the most..I couldn't even eat chicken every single day if it were prepared differently.. I crave different things most days..

Yes... but only if it was only in my mind. The purfect fried chicken is very *bad* for you on a regular basis. That does not mean it is something you wouldn't want on a daily basis... ;-) :-)

Dearfolk, This probably should go under the "Breakfast" fora, but I've known people who ate fried chicken for BREAKFAST every single day. Fact is, The Gateway Cafe on North Avenue here in Athens has it on their breakfast menu. Now I've got to encourage Mama's Boy to put it on their's, and to offer it hot OR cold! Pullin' A Mental Pulleybone, Ort. Carlton in The Many Pieces That Are Athens, Georgia.

Skinless vs. skin-on? No question about it, if I had to choose I'd prefer skin-on chicken eaten less often, than skinless chicken eaten every day. God bless my aciphex.
