    McKenzie's has always been fine fried chicken, but not the best in NOLA.
    They do have their loyal following like many places do.  Yes there is the nostalgia factor, but a better chicken and nostalgia factor would be

      I second Willie May's. Once the line was so long, I walked over to Dooky Chase and ate some chicken before returning to Willie May's for more. I also like the Praline Connection's chicken.
