Fried Salami Sandwich?

Has anyone ever had a fried "thick sliced" cotto "cooked" salami sandwick? I am thinking that it is like a fried bologna sandwich.

Ive cooked, cooked salami on the grill and in a fry pan, I like about a 1/4 in thick slice which is about half what I use for grilled bologna
