I don't know if this has been a topic before. One of my favorite road food activities is to stop at The Olive Pit in Corning, California whenever I drive down to see relatives in the bay area. The Olive Pit sells incredible flavored green olives(blue cheese stuffed, habanero, jalapeno stuffed, garlic, cajun) and offers unlimitted free samples. It is always a treat. Do o0ther people have fond memories of this place or other places like ths? I would like to hear more

Where's Corning? The stuffed olives sound good. Closest experience I've probably had to this is that until recently there were a number of places in San Francisco (Ferrari's, Mollie Stone's) selling green cherry peppers stuffed with prosciuto and provelone. They were yummy, but I looked for some at Mollie's last weekend and didn't see them. Numerous varieties of bulk olives (unstuffed), some flavored with various herbs or spices, are a common thing at gourmet markets here including the two mentioned for the peppers.
