GREAT SHAKES

does anyone remember great shakes? it was a plastic cup with several powdered drink mixes inside it.You added milk and stirred it up, was supposed to taste like a shake, tasted like chocolate milk!

    I think that there was a little intant pudding in the mix as a thickener. I must have liked it. I remember it.

    Custard Corner, a little small local place here in waterford,michigan has exelent chocolate milk shakes.

    I have a Great Shakes shaker from way back--medium brown color
    with a lighter brown lid. I still use it--for my powdered vitamin supplement.

    Several years ago, long after G.S. was dead, I bought something similar from some kid's fundraiser. Little packets of powder but you had to provide your own mason jar. The ingredient list was pretty amazing, but the end result was more like a slimfast than a milkshake.

    I think that was around the same time as Shake-a-Pudding.

    Seem to recall that one or both products were banned from our school lunches. We ate in our classroom, and kids shaking something with a snap-on lid, and, well, the teacher didn't appreciate the result.

    Yes I remember "Great Shakes" they were really good!! Do you think this product can still be found?
