I'm assuming that you mean "Gaithersburg." What mall are we talking about?

Here are a few places recommended by the Washington Post that I would be willing to try: Acajutla Mexican Restaurant (actually Salvadoran-Mex) Agrodolce India Bistro Rainbow (West African) Zio's Italian Restaurant (pizza etc.) I have not tried any of these... the area is deep suburbs, getting a little yuppier thanks to DC sprawl. Not a Roadfood haven by any stretch. Let us know how you do!

Mike, One of my favorite places now is Giuseppi's Pizza. I was first turned onto it about a year ago from another thread. Their pizza has it's origins in Pittsburgh and is distinguished by a very fresh doughy tasting, but crisp crust, very fresh tasting sauce with chunks of tomato and tons of cheese. I go to their Rockville store, but they have one in Kentlands, at 335 Kentlands Blvd. which is in the Gaithersburg area. Check in at www.giuseppispizza.net BTW, found a new source of real Buttermilk for you, located near me in central Baltimore.

It's in the Belvedere Market, York Road and Belvedere Ave. south of Towson in an area known as Govans. I'm not far away. Just let me know when you'll be in the area. These are quarts in glass bottles. I'll go back and get you more details. Only 15 minutes from Downtown.
