Galena area breakfast

starlady Total Posts: 7 Joined: 8/5/2004 Location: Palatine, IL	Galena area breakfast Sat, 08/6/11 8:47 AM (permalink) We are traveling between the NW Chicago suburbs and Galena, Il and want to stop at a good breakfast restaurant about 1 hour out of the suburban area. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks

How about the Machine Shed in Rockford on Business US 20 and I-90? Easily on the way to Galena for you and about an hour from your location. I am sure there are other options along Business 20 but we have always enjoyed meals at the Machine Shed and I think it's been mentioned here on Roadfood before. .
