German Road Food... Sat, 02/5/11 10:19 PM (permalink)
Just came across this site, good example of road food in Heidelberg:
http://geschmack.wordpres..m/category/doner-kebab/

Due to many Turkish etc. "guest workers", doner kebab is quite popular. Road (airplane) trip anyone?

Stationed in Heidelberg for three years...... a very long time ago, it was nice to see a few places that I frequented were still
there.  Lots to see, do, and eat there then.
    Thanks for reviving those memories!

Was stationed at Landstuhl many years ago. and thank you for some places I have been to in Heidelburg.
Christmas in Heidelburg foods and all. short train hop home.
Three day passes where easy to get and Europe you could eat everywhere in a weekend. Spent more time in Bavaria and Switzerland.
