Has anyone ever tried this place. We were visiting family and they took us there Friday night. Wow!!! Lined out the door and worth the wait, Excellent fried chicken. Keith

I have never been there since I am not a fried chicken fan, but Gil's (it is one "L", probably short for Gilbert) is well known and quite popular in the Peoria area.

My family also said they had another location in the area. Their fried catfish looked excellent as well.
